Settling In

We're always here if you have questions!  Let's see if we can answer some frequently asked ones.  If we missed yours, feel free to give us a text!

Heating/Air- The heating/ac unit is in the dining room and the remote for it is mounted on the living room wall by the TV.  The remote has a temperature sensor so the unit will run until the temperature where the remote is located has been met.

Kitchen- The water that comes out of the fridge dispenser is freshly filtered. The range is gas...pans are under the range.  The convection oven will cook a personal sized pizza.  There is a blender, crock pot, and toaster in the cabinets.  Dishwashing detergent and a dish mat are beneath the kitchen sink.

Bedroom- There is a sound machine beneath the TV to help you get some deep rest! In the closet, you will find extra blankets, as well as sheets and blankets for the extra trundle in the spare bedroom.

Living Room- Help yourself to the coffee bar! There is a kettle and a French press for you to make some wonderful morning coffee.  If you prefer tea, there is an assortment as well.

The electric fireplace also has a remote, located just underneath the TV.

The Spectrum app contains our local cable networks...you will have access to TV and movies through that.  Feel free to log in to your Netflix or Hulu accounts...just don't forget to log back out!

The internet is ready for you to use.  Occasionally, because of the area we live in, there will be an issue with service.  Usually, all it takes is a reset on our router to fix the problem.  If you notice the internet is down for some reason, please send us a text so we can let the company know.

Bathroom- Your towels and bath mat have been left in a basket for you, as well as some fresh soap.  The rack also contains extra towels and washcloths, toiletry samples, and beach towels.  Under the bathroom cabinet, you will find a hairdryer, clothing steamer, sanitary napkin bags, and extra tissue.

The Shed- Beach chairs, bikes, boogie boards, and an umbrella are there for your use.  Please remember to use the hose to rinse them off before returning. Firewood and starters, as well as matches, are ready for you.

We are so happy to have you and hope that you enjoy our little retreat!
